Overview
Washapp is a two-sided marketplace for mobile car washing — think Uber, but for vehicle detailing. Customers open the app, choose a service tier, and a vetted washer comes to them — at home, at work, wherever the car is parked.
The platform handles the full transaction lifecycle: GPS-based matching, job acceptance, real-time tracking, payment splitting via Stripe Connect, and post-service reviews. Providers have a separate driver-style app for managing their availability and earnings.
Built with React Native for cross-platform iOS and Android deployment from a single codebase, with a Node.js backend and PostgreSQL for reliability at scale.
